ISS Solutions Awarded Multi-Year Help Desk Services
Agreement with Sodexho Inc.
Langhorne, PA, April 5, 2006—
ISS Solutions, a leading provider of specialized
information technology lifecycle management
services,
announced today that they have entered into a
multi-year Help Desk contract with food and
facilities management leader, Sodexho Inc. The new
agreement entrusts ISS Solutions with the Help Desk
support of more than 6,000 Sodexho locations across
a multitude of industries including healthcare,
education, and government.
The Wood Company, acquired by Sodexho in 2001,
originally partnered with ISS Solutions for Help
Desk services in 1998. There were an original team
of 3 dedicated ISS Solutions Help Desk analysts
supporting 28 software applications. With this new
agreement, the scope of support grows to include 10
dedicated analysts servicing 61 hardware and
software products. It is estimated that ISS
Solutions will handle 60,000 Sodexho calls yearly
under the new contract.
Bruce Link, VP IS&T Customer Service for Sodexho,
stated “This contract is a move to ‘Rightsource’ our
Help Desk operations. ISS will handle the level 1
calls allowing the Sodexho Help Desk team to
concentrate on handling key proprietary software
calls.
