The Power of Partnership
How our IT Partnership with Ingram Micro Helps You
Ed
Butler, Director of Business Development, IT Services
You’ve
probably heard it a thousand times from your IT
vendors…”We don’t have the resources to do that” or “We
don’t have a technician in your area.” Fortunately,
because of ISS Solutions’ partnership with Ingram Micro,
you’ll never hear those words from us.
The
Ingram Micro Service Network (IMSN) is a highly regarded
service organization focused on helping Information
Technology partners (like ISS Solutions) serve their
clients better. IMSN does this by providing a national
network of technicians and OEMs to fill the geographic
service gaps that might otherwise be impractical for a
regional IT services provider to fill.
On-Demand Service
In essence, IMSN becomes an on-demand extension of our
business, so we’re prepared to serve your business in
even the most remote geographies or under the most
urgent circumstances.
Ingram Micro began back in 1979 as a consortium company
bringing OEMs and IT service providers together to help
the IT industry grow. In 1992, Ingram Micro expanded
their offering with the introduction of the Ingram Micro
Service Network. The concept was to pool partner company
resources for the collective good of their respective
clients.
Through IMSN, ISS Solutions expands and increases the
geographic area for which we deliver services such as:
·
Technical staff augmentation
·
24/7 technical support
·
Application services
·
Consulting
·
Hardware and software support
·
Installations, moves, adds, and changes (IMAC)
·
LAN/WAN support
·
Migration services
·
Network design, integration, and implementation
·
Remedial PC, printer, and server maintenance
·
Security solutions
·
Technology refresh services
·
Wireless communication services
ISS
Solutions has held a seat on the IMSN advisory board
since it’s inception in 1992. Herb Viniarski, Director
of IT Services for ISS Solutions, is our current
representative. Viniarski commented on the value of our
IMSN membership: “We immediately recognized the benefits
of their service network. We’re an organization that
never wants to say ‘no’ to our customers. Our
participation in the network has helped us achieve
this.” Viniarski went on to add, “The best things about
IMSN are their geographic coverage and their dedication
to quality.”
Authorizations and Satisfaction Ratings
IMSN partners maintain sales and service authorizations
from industry leaders such as Apple Computer, Cisco,
Citrix, Dell Computer, Epson America, Hewlett-Packard,
IBM, Microsoft, Symantec, Toshiba America, VERITAS, and
WatchGuard.
Adhering to strict guidelines for accuracy and response,
IMSN requires members to maintain high customer
satisfaction ratings. IMSN surveys customers within 72
hours of the conclusion of every service case. From that
survey, response time and technical capabilities of
service technicians are measured on a stringent
five-point scale. Members must maintain baseline scores
to continue to provide service through the network. IMSN
continually exceeds customer expectations at a level
that surpasses industry standards.
