ISS Solutions partners with Geisinger Health System to open new Technology Management Center
Langhorne, PA, October 30, 2005—ISS Solutions, a leading provider of custom
Information Technology and Clinical Engineering
lifecycle management, announced today the opening of
a new state-of-the-art Technology Management Center
in Northeastern Pennsylvania. This new facility is
situated on the Wyoming Valley Medical Center campus
of ISS Solutions’ parent organization, Geisinger
Health System.
The
new building, located in one of ISS Solutions’ most
densely populated service areas, will serve as a hub for
field service technicians and management personnel. The
facility will be a central repository for parts and
supplies and home to 14 ISS Solutions employees, who
together have more than 120 technical certifications in
Clinical Engineering and IT maintenance.
Joe
Hardisky, Director of Clinical Engineering Services for
ISS Solutions, shared his thoughts about the new
building, “The opening of this new facility is a big
step forward for us and our ability to serve both
Geisinger Health System and surrounding medical centers.
With our resources in one place, we will increase
service levels and decrease costs, which is a winning
combination for everyone.”
