International Shared Services, Inc. Names New Leadership
and Relocates Headquarters to Langhorne, Pennsylvania
Langhorne, PA, August 11, 2004—Today,
International Shared Services, Inc. (ISS), a strategic
affiliate of Geisinger Health System and technology
solutions provider serving the Mid-Altantic region,
announced new leadership roles and their relocation to
Langhorne, PA.
Peter Brooks, Sr. Director of Geisinger Ventures and
Interim CEO of ISS since April, 2004, has been named
Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Brooks will lead the
strategic direction of the company and continue its
long-standing tradition of service excellence. Most
recently with Physiome Sciences, Mr. Brooks has had
executive leadership roles with four early stage
technology companies.
Frank Trembulak, Executive Vice President of Geisinger
Health System says “I am pleased to announce the
appointment of Peter Brooks as CEO of ISS. Peter’s
extensive experience in the technology and biotech
sectors as a business development executive and his
energetic and positive approach to his role as Interim
CEO over the past few months have enabled us move
forward quickly with growth plans for ISS.”
Mr.
Brooks says “ISS’ goal is to be the premier clinical
engineering and information technology integration and
services company in the Mid-Atlantic region. We will
achieve this goal through service excellence and
sustained growth and profitability. We’ve realigned the
company around our four lines of service: Clinical
Engineering, Information Technology, Contact Center, and
Technology Acquisition.” He continues: “I am pleased to
announce the appointment of Mike Jones as CFO, Warren
Winterbottom as VP, Sales & Marketing, Herb Viniarski as
IT Services Director, and Joeseph Hardisky as Clinical
Engineering Services Director. I am confident in the
newly appointed leadership team’s ability to service
existing clients and grow new business.”
In
his new role of Chief Financial Officer, Michael Jones
has responsibility for all financial planning and
analysis, accounting, and financial reporting activities
for the company. Mr. Jones was Corporate Controller and
Divisional CFO for Condor Technology Solutions, acquired
by ISS in 2002.
Warren Winterbottom is ISS’ new Vice President of Sales
& Marketing and Director of Technology Acquisition
Services. He is responsible for identifying growth
opportunities and introducing strategic and tactical
solutions that improve the company’s competitive
performance while increasing revenue and profitability.
Previously a principal at gtmAdvisors, LLC, a management
consulting firm, Mr. Winterbottom brings over 20 years
of executive management experience to ISS.
Herb Viniarski, new Director of information Technology
and Contact Center Services, is responsible for IT
operations and service delivery including the ISS 24x7
Contact Center. Mr. Viniarski has held key technical and
account management positions with ISS or its predecessor
companies for over 15 years.
As
Director of Clinical Engineering Services, Joseph
Hardisky leads development of clinical technology
services. Most recently a Regional Operations Manager
for ISS, Mr. Hardisky has over 25 years of clinical
technology, operations management, and information
technology experience.
ISS
has moved its new headquarters to Langhorne, PA. “This
larger, more modern space was already home to three of
our service areas,” states Mr. Brooks. ISS acquired the
space in December 2002 as part of its acquisition of the
Infrastructure Services Division (formerly known as
Computer Hardware Maintenance Co. or CHMC) of Condor
Technology Solutions, Inc., Baltimore MD.
