Joseph A. Hardisky, Vice President, Clinical Engineering
and
Geisinger Services
As Vice President
of
Clinical Engineering, Mr. Hardisky leads development of
clinical technology services. Mr. Hardisky is also the
liaison for both clinical and IT technology services
provided to Geisinger Health System.
Mr. Hardisky has
over 25 years of clinical technology, operations
management, and information technology experience. As
Regional Operations Manager for ISS, Mr. Hardisky led a
$15 Million service division serving healthcare,
business, government, and education clients in five
Mid-Atlantic states. He founded a new ISS division, the
$5 Million Computer Services/Network Management
division. Mr. Hardisky also traveled to Saudi Arabia to
survey 26 hospitals for the start-up of a clinical
technology management program abroad.
He began his career in the Biomedical Technology field
at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Miami,
Florida. Mr. Hardisky, a certified Biomedical
Equipment Technician, successfully completed the Geisinger Executive Leadership Education Program
and attended Wharton School of Business and MIT Sloan
School of Business Executive
Education programs. He
earned a degree in Biomedical Engineering from Penn
State University; a B.S. in Business Administration,
Summa Cum Laude, from King's College; and an MBA, Summa
Cum Laude, from Wilkes University.
